Hotel Milano Scala’s green gastronomy

Hotel Milano Scala, a 4-star Superior property located in the heart of Milan, allows the guests to find the best destinations at short walking distance: the Brera neighborhood, the Cathedral (Duomo), the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery (Galleria), the “La Scala” Theatre, but also the “Fashion Streets” such as Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga.

Hotel Milano Scala is the first carbon-neutral hotel in Milan, and it is reinforcing its commitment to sustainability by choosing the new gastronomic proposal “Healthy & Green” through a partnership with external providers who have been dedicating their business to sustainable food. Everyday guests can be delighted by the “green corner” in which they can choose by a wide range of fresh ingredients to compose their customized salad. All products come from accurately selected producers, trying always to respect the so-called 0-km policy, to provide valuable and healthy alternatives for lunches or dinners to enjoy in the Primadonna bar or in the La Traviata restaurant.

Some examples of this innovative gastronomic offer are the “baguette del giorno”, the “green burger” and the “fitness proposal”, enriched by the upscale program “7 Power Plates for 7 Days”, seven unique complete meals entirely green and well balanced, created with the cooperation of the nutritionist and biologist Anna Villarini.

The enjoyment of this green-food offer is also highlighted by the possibility to have it on the panoramic terrace of the hotel, which will host also a wonderful rooftop “aperitivo” in real Italian style, allowing the guests to have a wonderful view of the historical center of Milan, listen to real good music and be amazed by little surprises, bringing the experience of the meal on a brand-new level.
